Home to Home is located at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Exchanges take place at Midcoast Hospital ( 123 Medical Center Drive) in Brunswick.
-The parent who is dropping the child off parks in the main parking lot and enters through the main entrance. The parent and child go to the volunteer office and wait.
-The parent who is picking the child up parks in the Medical Center parking lot and enters through the Medical Center ( 121 Medical Center Drive). The pick up parent proceeds to the hospital cafeteria to wait.
-The buildings are adjoining and once the volunteers have verified that both parents are at the hospital, volunteers take the children to be exchanged down a corridor which connects the two buildings to the cafeteria where their parent is waiting.
-The parent who has dropped the child off is required to wait 10 minutes before exiting the building, to allow the child and the other parent the opportunity to leave the premises without crossing paths. The volunteer waits with the parent in the volunteer office.

Here’s how to get to Mid Coast Hospital:

Coming from the South ( Brunswick, Freeport, Yarmouth, Portland):
Take Exit 28 ( Brunswick) off I-295 North (formerly I-95 Exit 22). This will put you on Pleasant Street-Route 1.
Follow signs for “U.S. Route 1—Bath.” (This will involve a left turn at laundromat.)
Take the Cook’s Corner exit off Route 1. Get in the left lane, and at the traffic light, turn left onto Bath Road.
Medical Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.

Coming from the North ( Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Damariscotta):
Follow U.S. Route 1 across the Sagadahoc Bridge into Bath. Continue south.
Take New Meadows Road Exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Proceed to stop sign at State Road. Turn right.
Medical Center Drive is 1.7 miles on your left. Turn left at the large Mid Coast Hospital sign.

Coming from the West (Topsham, Lisbon Falls):
Follow Rte. 196 to the Coastal Connector. Stay in the left lane to Bath, U.S. Route 1.
Take the Cook’s Corner exit off Route 1. Get in the left lane, and at the traffic light, turn left onto Bath Road.
Medical Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.
